Decline Bench Press

Decline bench press is an excellent exercise to target the lower and middle sections of the chest muscles and the triceps. Targeting these areas help to add shape to the chest and are therefore an excellent exercise for those with Pectus Excavatum, as it helps to pull the sternum out and add excellent shape to the chest.

Lie supine on decline bench with feet under leg brace. Dismount barbell from rack over chest using wide oblique overhand grip.

Lower weight to upper chest. Press bar until arms are extended. Repeat.

Range of motion will be compromised if grip is too wide.
