Straight Arm Chest Stretch
This stretch helps to strengthen the chest muscles, which in turn has the effect of improving the shape of the chest and overall posture. It is therefore an excellent strecth for the treatment of Pectus Excavatum.
With arm extended, position hand on fixed structure shoulder height.
Turn body away from positioned arm. Hold stretch. Repeat with opposite arm.
Upper chest becomes more stretched with elbow lower. Lower chest and pectoralis minor become more stretched with elbow higher.
